UniSuite Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UniSuite website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EnjoyCanada Consulting Inc., the operator of UniSuite ("UniSuite", "we", "our", or "us").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies, community guidelines, housing rules, listing rules, or promotional program rules published by UniSuite from time to time. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. About UniSuite

UniSuite is a Canadian community platform designed to help users discover, share, and access local information and services.

Our Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Housing listings and rental services;
  • Community housing posts;
  • Jobs and employment information;
  • Local services and businesses;
  • Buying and selling second-hand goods;
  • Finding roommates, activity partners, and local communities;
  • Community discussions and user-generated content;
  • User accounts and messaging;
  • SMS verification and account security;
  • Referral and Ambassador programs;
  • Other services introduced by UniSuite from time to time.

Some features may require additional verification, approval, payment, or eligibility.

2. Eligibility

If you have not reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the Services.

You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities conducted through your account.

You agree not to:

  • create accounts using false information;
  • impersonate another person or organization;
  • create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes;
  • sell or transfer your account;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the Services.

3. SMS Verification and Communications

UniSuite may require phone verification to improve platform security and prevent abuse.

If you choose to verify your phone number, we may send SMS messages for purposes including:

  • account verification;
  • login authentication;
  • password recovery;
  • security alerts;
  • important account-related notifications.

SMS messages may be delivered through trusted third-party communication providers.

By requesting an SMS verification code, you consent to receiving these account-related messages.

UniSuite does not use SMS verification consent as permission to send promotional or marketing messages.

4. User Content

Users may publish posts, comments, listings, messages, photos, and other content ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

You agree not to publish content that:

  • violates any law;
  • infringes intellectual property rights;
  • contains false or misleading information;
  • promotes scams or fraud;
  • harasses or threatens others;
  • contains spam or excessive promotional content;
  • violates UniSuite Community Guidelines or Listing Rules.

UniSuite reserves the right to remove, restrict, edit, or moderate User Content that violates these Terms.

5. Housing Listings

UniSuite provides both Community Housing Posts and Formal Housing Listings. These are separate services and may have different publication requirements, review procedures, fees, or limitations.

Community Housing Posts are intended for individual users and may not be used to publish commercial inventory or bulk rental advertisements.

Users remain solely responsible for verifying all rental information before entering into any agreement.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, UniSuite is not a landlord, property owner, property manager, or real estate brokerage.

6. Payments and Ambassador Program

Certain services may require payment. Applicable fees will be displayed before you complete a paid action.

UniSuite may operate referral, Ambassador, commission, or reward programs. Participation does not guarantee payment. Rewards or points may be withheld or cancelled in cases of fraud, abuse, or rule violations.

7. Points and Levels

UniSuite may provide points, user levels, badges, and recognition features.

  • Points have no monetary value;
  • Points cannot be transferred between users;
  • Points are not redeemable for cash.

UniSuite reserves the right to modify, remove, or discontinue the system at any time.

8. Third-Party Services

UniSuite may rely on third-party providers for services including:

  • SMS delivery;
  • payment processing;
  • hosting;
  • maps;
  • email delivery;
  • analytics;
  • authentication; and
  • cloud infrastructure.

These services operate under their own terms. Except where required by law, UniSuite is not responsible for their actions or failures.

9. Intellectual Property

The UniSuite name, logos, trademarks, website design, software, and content are owned by or licensed to EnjoyCanada Consulting Inc. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit UniSuite content without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of User Content that you submit.

By posting User Content, you grant UniSuite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and process such content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Services.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by the UniSuite Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information.

11. Suspension and Termination

UniSuite may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts if:

  • these Terms are violated;
  • fraud or abuse is suspected;
  • platform security is threatened;
  • required verification cannot be completed;
  • required by law.

We may also remove content, restrict features, or cancel rewards associated with rule violations.

You may stop using the Services at any time and request deletion of your account, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

12. Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Much of the information available on UniSuite is provided by users or third parties.

We do not guarantee that all information is accurate, complete, or current.

Users are responsible for independently verifying listings, advertisements, services, employment opportunities, and other information before making decisions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniSuite, EnjoyCanada Consulting Inc., and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

This includes damages arising from:

  • user-generated content;
  • third-party services;
  • service interruptions;
  • unauthorized account access;
  • transactions between users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EnjoyCanada Consulting Inc. and UniSuite from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:

  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your misuse of the Services;
  • your User Content;
  • your infringement of another person's rights.

15. Changes to the Services

UniSuite may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time.

We may also revise these Terms. Updated Terms will be published on this page.

Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer protection or privacy laws.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Ontario, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the UniSuite Privacy Policy and any published platform rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and UniSuite regarding the use of the Services.
